Chapter 1
High Altitude Herpetoculture Repticon Returns to Denver
Lisa Parker
...um, so if I told you that my favorite sound at six in the morning in Aurora is the sound of metal table legs clicking into place, would you believe me?
Michael Arnold
Knowing you? Yeah, honestly, 100 percent. You probably brought a kazoo to celebrate each row being set up, didn't you?
Lisa Parker
It might be in my pocket right now, Michael. You never know when a load in morning needs a little fan fare. But seriously, standing inside the exhibition hall at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds, out on East Quincy Avenue... there's just something about that crisp October air in Colorado that gets everybody pumped.
Michael Arnold
Oh, for sure. The atmosphere is just electric. And Denver has such a passionate reptile community. Mark your calendars, folks, because October 10th and 11th, 2026, Repticon is back in town. We are talking full weekend.
Lisa Parker
Full weekend! Saturday we open doors right at 9:00 AM and go until 4:00 PM. Then Sunday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Address is 25690 East Quincy Avenue in Aurora, zip code 80016. And as show manager, let me tell you, getting all those vendors unloaded between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM Saturday morning is a choreography like no other.
Michael Arnold
Well, and it is not just about moving boxes, right? Getting everything set up seamlessly means that when families walk through those doors, everything is ready for a fun, educational experience.
Lisa Parker
Right, keeping animal welfare front and center is what makes the show so special. Every vendor brings healthy animals and top notch knowledge to share with attendees.
Michael Arnold
Which makes for such a smooth crowd flow. Parents bring their kids, maybe it's their first time ever holding a little python or seeing a gecko up close. The room layout gives people space to breathe and talk to breeders without feeling rushed.
Chapter 2
Floor Spotlights Three Standout Vendors and Expert Care
Michael Arnold
Speaking of vendors, Lisa, who are some of the standout local names mentioned in our show sources for Denver?
Lisa Parker
We have great local presence like Nature Box Pet Emporium right out of Aurora, as well as Scales 'N Tails Aurora, who are part of that long-standing franchise with over 25 years of experience connecting with the reptile community.
Michael Arnold
That is fantastic. Having establish local experts right on the floor alongside traveling vendors gives attendees access to incredible stock, live arrival guarantees, and ongoing local aftercare.
Lisa Parker
It builds confidence! You walk out of the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds with a healthy pet, exact aftercare support, and a smile on your face.
Michael Arnold
Couldn't agree more. October 10th and 11th, 2026, Denver is the place to be.
Lisa Parker
See you all there! Now, where did I put my kazoo...
