Chapter 1

Back in Fort Pierce

Lisa Parker

Welcome back to the Repticon Reptile Show Podcast! We're heading back to Fort Pierce, Florida. If you listened to our June episode about the summer stop, this is the autumn edition. ReptiDay Fort Pierce lands on Saturday, October 24th, 2026.

Michael Arnold

And it's a one day event, so you want to mark the calendar. The doors run from 10:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon, Eastern time. That's a six hour window to see a lot of animals.

Jay Tacey

The location is the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds, 15601 West Midway Road in Fort Pierce, Florida, zip code 34945. I like to start with the guest experience, and the source describes this as a fun and educational exposition suitable for all ages and personalities. A truly family oriented event.

Guy Mc Farlane

That phrase, all ages and personalities, matters to me. So you might be a lifelong keeper, or you might be a parent whose kid just asked for a snake. Both are in the room.

Lisa Parker

Exactly. And what makes a day like this fun is the variety of people behind the tables. Last time we talked about DnK Reptiles, Adara Arachnids, and USARK Florida. This time we want to point you to two different vendors, and both are neighbors from Port St. Lucie.

Chapter 2

Two Neighbors to Find on the Floor

Michael Arnold

Let me take the first one. Florida Born Exotics. It's a family run breeder and pet shop in Port St. Lucie, operated by a husband and wife team, Alex and Sandra Perez. Now, what do they sell? Their breeding program includes Ball Pythons, Blood Pythons, Boa Constrictors, Sand Boas, and Corn Snakes. On the lizard side, Bearded Dragons and Leopard Geckos.

Guy Mc Farlane

That's a nice spread for a newer keeper. Their profile says they focus on producing healthy, well socialized animals from high quality bloodlines. For me, well socialized is the key phrase, because temperament matters when you're taking an animal home.

Michael Arnold

Right. And the Ball Pythons and Corn Snakes in that list are the classic starting points. Then if you're drawn to something less common, there are Blood Pythons and Sand Boas.

Jay Tacey

They also run a full service retail pet shop, so locals can meet animals in person and receive personalized guidance. Customers consistently praise their professionalism, their responsive communication, and the overall health of their animals.

Lisa Parker

And they're active on MorphMarket, Instagram, and Facebook. So if you want to see what they're working with before October 24th, you have places to look.

Guy Mc Farlane

Let me bring in our second vendor, because this one shifts the whole conversation. Nauti Lass Ponds and Critters, also in Port St. Lucie, run by Stephen Lass. They are a family run business that specializes in captive bred turtles and tortoises.

Lisa Parker

Okay, turtles and tortoises. That's a different kind of table from snakes and geckos.

Guy Mc Farlane

It is. Stephen carries both aquatic and terrestrial chelonians. Chelonians is the group that includes turtles and tortoises, so that covers water loving animals and land dwellers. And what I appreciate is the sourcing. All animals are produced in house or through trusted breeder partners, which they say supports high health and welfare standards.

Jay Tacey

I'll echo that. Animals first is the foundation, and captive bred is part of that conversation. Then you have the buyer side. Nauti Lass holds a perfect 5.0 rating from 116 reviews on MorphMarket, along with a one thousand dollar buyer protection guarantee through MorphMarket.

Michael Arnold

And they've earned several seller badges there too. Professional, Knockout, Trending, and multiple Annual Member recognitions. Those point to long term reliability, at least on that platform.

Lisa Parker

One more thing I love. They offer shipping across the continental United States, and also local delivery or meet ups in South Florida. So even after the show, that relationship continues.

Guy Mc Farlane

That's what I'd tell a first time buyer. If you're curious about a tortoise, ask questions about long term care at the table. A good breeder is happy to talk.

Jay Tacey

Which brings it back to the day itself. You've got a family friendly exposition, a six hour window, and local breeders who live ten minutes down the road from the fairgrounds, or close to it anyway. I'll stay with what the source supports, which is that both of these businesses are based in Port St. Lucie, right next door to Fort Pierce.

Michael Arnold

Next door is close enough for me. Snakes and lizards from Florida Born Exotics, turtles and tortoises from Nauti Lass. That's a great start to the day.

Lisa Parker

So here's the recap. ReptiDay Fort Pierce, Saturday, October 24th, 2026, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds, 15601 West Midway Road in Fort Pierce. Bring the family, bring your questions, and come say hello. We'll see you there!
